How do I find the area of a rectangle?
Multiply length by breadth. A room 12 ft long and 8 ft wide has an area of 12 × 8 = 96 sq ft.
What is the area of a triangle?
Half of base × height. A triangle with base 10 cm and height 6 cm has area ½ × 10 × 6 = 30 cm². If you only know the three sides, use Heron's formula — this calculator does both.
What is the area of a trapezium?
½ × (sum of parallel sides) × height. Parallel sides 8 m and 12 m with height 5 m give ½ × 20 × 5 = 50 m².
How do I calculate the area of a room in square feet?
Measure length and width in feet and multiply. For an L-shaped room, split it into two rectangles, find each area and add them.
